Covid-19 Response

First Lutheran Classical School is open full time with in-person instruction and appropriate health and safety procedures in place. We are taking every precaution to safeguard the well-being of students, faculty, and staff.

• Classrooms will be minimized of clutter and will be sanitized frequently throughout the day.

• We will continue to encourage social distancing and to require frequent hand washing.

• We will not require students or staff to wear masks. If your child desires to wear a face covering at school we will provide one for them. (Exceptions may occur if we take a field trip to a location which requires masks but we will provide masks if necessary.)

Parents:

Before arriving at school conduct a symptom check of possible symptoms for each child.

Does the child have any of the following:

• Fever (100.4 degrees or higher now or within the last 24 hours)

• Sore throat

• New cough

• New shortness of breath

• New muscle aches

• Diarrhea

• Headache

• Unexplained loss of taste or smell

Has your child been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or been notified that you may have been exposed?

If the answer to any of the above was yes then do not come to school.
