Quick Guide School Uniform Policy 2019-2020 school year

Lower grades (K - 6)

Chapel uniform

Students must wear chapel uniform on Tuesdays and for most outings outside of the school.

  • Long or short sleeve red polo shirt with logo

  • Traditional khaki slacks/shorts/skirts/skorts

  • Red polo dress with school logo (no more than 2 inches above the knee)

Week day attire

Tops

  • Solid color short or long sleeve polo style shirts with no logos or embellishments other than FLCS logo

  • All shirts must be worn tucked in

  • Only solid navy zip or button cardigan sweaters may be worn in the classroom

Bottoms

  • Khaki or navy dress slacks (K-2 students only may wear pull-on style slacks)

  • Khaki or navy dress shorts from April 1 - September 30

  • Black, solid leather (or leather look) belts must be worn if loops are present

  • Girls only:

    - khaki or navy dress skirts/skorts (no more than 2 inches above the knee)

    - long or short sleeve polo style dresses (no more than 2 inches above the knee)

Footwear

  • Shoes must be closed-toed, with heels of no more than one inch

  • Character and light-up shoes are not permitted for uniform wear

  • Solid black or white crew or knee length socks must be worn with all uniform combinations

  • Girls: Solid black or white footed tights may be worn instead of socks


All Grade Levels

 

Performance uniform

  • For any scheduled performance all students must wear:

  • White, long sleeved button down oxford shirt (tucked in)

  • Black slacks (boys)/black skirt (girls)

  • Black socks (boys) /black footed tights (girls)

  • Black belt (if slacks/skirts have loops)

  • Black leather, or leather look dress shoes (no more than one inch heel)

  • Solid red tie (boys) or solid red crossover tie (girls)
